After a month of being lazy and unmotivated as all hell, I (re)discover a track which kicks my ass and reminds me just how incredible hip-hop can be. I felt compelled to share this one.

Let’s move. The latest from The Wildebeest.

This song pretty much sums up my life right now. An excellent listen from Toronto emcees Relic and Saukrates. Read on and tell a bud.

Well, I’ll be damned. The Wildebeest is a year old today (the dot-com at least, this Tumblr has been here longer). In that time I put in a whole bunch more of words about music I like, and I’m gonna keep on rolling with it. Unsettling? Quite. Awesome? Definitely. One of my top listens of year. Read on and tell a bud.

This one is a mess. I love it. The latest for The Wildebeest.

After having this one on repeat for the last few weeks I had to put some words down about it. It’s a harrowing listen. Check it out. The latest for The Wildebeest.
Hotline Miami. (Semi-NSFW.)
This is a terrific listen from an album which pretty came out of nowhere to dominate my ears. It’s a great mix of ’80s synth and ’60s psychedelia, the hazy heights of excess and surreal. Definitely check out the album.
