Lushlife - "Motivation" →
I am AWED by the sounds of Philly producer Lushlife. I seriously can’t believe I slept on his music for this long…but that changes right the hell now. My latest for the new Beest.

One Be Lo just released a new album. →
In fact, all this week Lo has been profiled by KevinNottingham with a ton of great content, including an interview with Binary Star about Masters of the Universe, audio commentary by Lo on his favorite tracks, Lo’s announcement of his new group The Autocons, and much more. Christmas seriously came early. Check it out, and as always, stay tuned to The (new) Beest.

Apollo Brown & Hassaan Mackey - "Something" →
This is the kind of listen which really warms your heart. Listen to this in a car with some great speakers and it will a supreme experience. My latest for The Beest.

Elements of Music (EOM) - "Jeremy's Drug" →
I’ve really been enjoying EOM’s instrumental effort, Further. A really smooth album, and this is one listen I’ve had on repeat all evening.  Also, the dude produced Shad’s “Yaa I Get It.” +1000000 points for him.  Check it out on The Wildebeest.

A forgotten classic indeed, a solid collaboration between an eclectic group and a legendary musician. Check it out!

BDP's Criminal Minded turned 25 this weekend. →
And I wrote about how awesome it is, in a retrospective for KevinNottingham.com. Check it out, and don’t forget to peep my relaunched page: The Wildebeest. BTW, when was the first time you heard Criminal Minded?

Fatboy Slim - "Gangster Trippin'" →
Damn, getting back into the swing of writing every day is a bit of a challenge.  Ah well, here’s the latest for the new Beest, wherein I revisit a wild and frenetic listen from the first album I ever bought. Yeah’p. Check it out.
